Footy in Canada is driven primarily by amateur athletes, volunteers, and supporters. There are many ways to get involved at the club, league, or national level. Each role helps to grow the game and introduce more people to footy.

Play Footy
The High Park Demons have two teams, the men’s team and the women’s team. No experience is required, and athletes of all backgrounds and fitness levels are welcome. To join a practice at no cost, click below.
Coach Footy
AFL Canada is dedicated to ensuring all AFL Canada members across the country, from junior to senior, have access to the highest quality coaching available to ensure proper development and safe sport.

Umpire Footy
Umpires are critical to maintaining a safe, fair, and fun environment for all players. Umpiring roles include field umpires, goal umpires, boundary umpires, and timekeepers. Every game we need volunteers to support the sport, and all who sign up will receive training. If any of these positions interest you, please let us know by clicking below.
