On July 21, 2017 Australian Football lost a passionate supporter and advocate, Malcolm Foletti. Not only was Malcolm’s passing a loss to football, but the High Park Demons and AFL Ontario lost one of their most passionate and dedicated alumni.
Malcolm Foletti was one of the founding members of the High Park Demons, formerly known as the Mississauga Mustangs, and AFL Ontario. In 1989, the league had been born as Malcolm helped grow the first 2 clubs, the Mississauga Mustangs and the Toronto Eagles.
In honour of Malcolm Foletti, the High Park Demons and the Toronto Eagles hold the Malcolm Foletti Memorial Cup every year at the end of July. This year, the game will be on Saturday July 22, 2023 at 11am.
We are honoured to have Malcolm Foletti’s wife, Barbara Foletti, join us all the way from Australia at Humber South to present the Foletti Cup to the winning team.
